Video Editing Functions

This is a guide for video editing functions of iPod Touch Converter. You will learn how to clip video segment, crop area size, add effects, and create video watermark to colorize your video.

1. Clip video segment

The software provides video/audio clipping function, which allows you to choose the segments you like from the source, and add them to the file list for converting rather than convert the entire large source file.

(1) Select a video/audio file in the file list, click Edit on the toolbar and choose Clip option to open Clip window.

(2) Play the video, when it comes to the very start point you want, click "Set Start Point" button. So does the end point.

Otherwise, input the time value in the start and end text box.

Or click and drag slider bar to adjust the start and end time.

(3) Then click "OK" to return to the main interface.

2. Crop area size

Select the file you want to edit from the file list, and click Edit on the toolbar and choose "Effect" option to open Effect window. Click "Crop" button in the left window to open crop setting panel.

(1) Check Enable Crop check box.

(2) Set the crop area precisely by input values or manually by dragging the control bar in the preview window. 

(3) When the setting is complete, click "OK".

Tips : Check "Keep Aspect Ratio" to adjust the width and height proportionally.

When it's messed up, click "Restore Defaults" and it goes back to the original condition.

3.Add effects

Select file, click Edit , choose "Effect", then click "Effect" button in the left window to go to the effect setting panel. 

(1) Check Enable Effect check box.

(2) Set brightness, contrast, saturation either by inputting values or by dragging the slide bar.

(3) Append artistic effect by click the "Other Effects" drop down list.

(4) When the setting is complete, click "OK".

Also you can click "Restore Defaults" to return it to the initial settings.

4. Create video watermark

(1) Check Enable Watermark check box. 

(2) Add text watermark by inputting the text, add picture watermark by locating the picture.

(3) Adjust transparence, vertical position and horizontal position. You can intuitively drag the green line in the preview window to manually adjust the position of watermark.

For text watermark, you can click the setting button to set the Font Style.

(4) When the setting is complete, click "OK".
